Too bad CBS was broadcasting this series. The REAL pro basketball championship finals that year was in the ABA, Denver (David Thompson, Bobby Jones, Dan Issel) vs. New York (Dr. J)
whadaya expect..... He was IMO the jackass of the NBA during that time. He even OBJECTED his son being DRAFTED by the Celtics and didnt allow Jon to go to Boston!!!!
Yep, back in the days when players weren't given multi-million dollar contracts. Funny how this also gave us better broadcasters out of the era's players.
