  • Assyria = Mesopotamia = Modern-Day Iraq!

Why is it so hard to comprehend?

And REAL Assyrians are extinct since REAL Assyrians weren't Christians and had a different religion, FACE IT.

  • @xMesopotamia

The Ancient Assyrian empire was not only limited to the current state of Iraq, it stretched outside the traditional Middle Eastern borders.

Of course the ancient Assyrians were not Christian, they are classified as "ancient" for a reason. Are the modern Greeks practicing the pagan religion of their ancestors? No. Did the ancient Greeks have a different religion than modern Greeks? Of course. Same with the Assyrians. I suggest you do some reading, peace.

  • The Weapons sections forgot Daggers =D

  • Now added ;D

  • The British Museum has a wonderful Assyrian section and this year there was a comprehensive Babylonian exhibition there which was very interesting.

  • I want to visit the BM and see the Assyrian section!

They had a "Taste of Assyria" type event, where Assyrian cuisine was served in the museum, I wish I was there for it.

  • Yes My Dear I knew this

But, there are alot Assyrians out there who have no idea about their ancestors' contributions to the Humanities.

And, your work is worthwhile to awake these people who just are searching in "Assyrian Funny" in youtube and nothing else concerning Assyrians.

    Thanks

    God Bless Assyria

God Bless all those sons such as you.

  • Freedom to Assyria.

Assyria and Greece be friends forever!

  • Mesopotamia was not only iraq but also turkey

  • You forgot to mention Enheduanna, daughter of Sargon I and great-priestess of Sîn during early akkadian period. To this day, she's the very first listed writer of mankind. I recommand her poetry and hymns made all in glory of Ishtar.

    It's exquisite...

Despite not being assyrian myself, I'm 100% behind this ethnic group. They're courageous enough to resist about 30 genocides of arabo-islamic scum...

You sure, worthy people of Irak, Russia or Israel, can be proud of this legacy !

  • @HELLINMAN

yes mesopotamia and greece be friends forever, because both of them gave thr world civilization.

  • @anosh88 Arab Christians are like you in terms of being Christian. If I wrote, "Arab Christians, like you," then you have the right to say that I told you're an Arab. There's no comma.

It's because you live in a secular society. Try living in a Judeo-Christian theocracy and see the incredible backwardness.

  • @satoofi93 And if Judeo-Christians are backward, why are we all not living in caves, but rather live mostly in quiet and clean suburbs, have stable jobs and are middle and upper class, accept other people's lifestyles but they take it offensively when we tell them what they believe? We actually have a more broad mind than you think. You should really giving me meaningless answers because you really have no point so far in everything you said. The conclusion is, you're an atheist and Im Christian

  • @satoofi93 'There are many Arab Christians like you' What does that imply? maybe *you* should enhance your literacy skills. As far as the TERM secularism goes, it can be used to label anyone with a 'closed' ideology that is unwilling to believe anything else, which is what you are if you actually *think* about it. By the way, it's not the religion that makes someone backwards, it is the person. If you ever step into a church, you will rarely find anyone who is not a university graduate.

  • @anosh88 I really don't know how am I going to continue a debate with someone who doesn't know the definition of secularism.

NO, it is NOT evil. It is the bliss that's protecting us from Judeo-Christian backward ideologies.

  • @anosh88 You need to enhance your literacy skills. However, I'll be kind and explain it all:

Secularism is not atheism. Atheism is the belief that there is no God, while secularism is the belief that religion should be seperated from the state matters. Secularism does cover Christianity's evil face because almost every Christian country is secular.

I did NOT call you an Arab Christian, I wrote that there are Arab Christians. Never wrote anything about you personally since I don't know you.

  • @satoofi93 "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." Abraham Lincoln.

    Please read more books.

  • @satoofi93 It's like you're either illiterate or just plain dumb. You first defend the natives to attack christianity (in addition to saying that christianity shows a lovely image due to its secularism. So being secular is evil???? aren't you considered secular since you hold to the belief that there is not God?), then you call me a Christian Arab when you recognize Assyrians in your previous comments. You really do have a single neuron running in your head.
