Hinksey Sculling School is a charity committed to giving the entire Oxfordshire community access to a sport that is proven to build positive qualities and skills in young people.
This year we are paying tribute to its founders, John Broadhurst and Tom Collins who both still actively work for the charity as fundraisers and co-ordinators despite being in their late 60s.
They are massively respected by all who know them and have positively impacted on hundreds of lives through their selfless work.
In October 2011 the Prime Minister, David Cameron, commended John and Tom for their incredible work for young people in Oxfordshire
