The major change that happened in Persian was the adoption of a Semitic faith (Islam), the abandonment of Indo-European faiths (Zoroastrianism, Mithraism/Ancient Persian mythology) and an adoption of a great many Semitic names and cultural traits; elements of true Persian society exist and they are (ironically) one of the more liberal countries when it comes to Islam;they revere old Persian kings and heroes and generally don't dress like conservative Muslims and don't tie everything into Islam

boring is the culture you guys never had.... the best thing you are proud of as EUROPEAN culture is ROME. Which was founded some 3000 years after Jamshid Shah of Persia's era and 350 years after the writing of human rights by Cyrus the great.... read some history books before insulting more than 100 Million...
besides...
You should remember that the 3 wise-men you guys know in Jesus story WERE persian...
