@ramirez509 5 minutes is about right.

@DrZarkloff How long do you let the cleaning solvent sit ? 5min?

those cheap pump up sprayers, they have horrible penetration into the coil, and always mess up with coil cleaner, the seals tend to go out and pump quit compressing. Good video though, I like your in depth steps you show!

I usually wrap a plastic bag over those condenser motors and tie it offf, just a plain old walmart or grocery store bag and tie at the bottom, that way there is no way to get water into its windings, Also, I never, spray in on dirty side coil, always reverse airflow, alot of these newer coil fins are not smooth on the inside, they have little ridges, so if you spray in the dirt just traps in them, I use a coil cleaner gun, that just attaches to a hose, simply because I got tired of buying

@trencher7 You really should use coil cleaner. I don't know how brake dust remover would react to thin aluminium and copper.

What is in coil cleaner? Any household products that will work? Brake dust remover?

@DrZarkloff We poured a slab where the wallmounts go as well as mounting them on the wall, the reversing valve on the must be entergized in heat mode they when the tech wired the first one when we put it on heat and got air conditioning

@js0009 Most Bard units do have heat active reversing valves.
