"Nothin' to Lose" singer Josh Gracin will perform at the Sears in Oakbrook Center mall in Oak Brook Saturday. The country concert is free, but donations will be collected for the Sears Heroes at Home wish registry, which supports active military families during the holidays.

Some of you may remember Gracin as the marine who finished fourth on the second season of "American Idol." Me? I know him better as the guy who sings the excellent "Stay With Me (Brass Bed)." That's the kind of slow song you have on that playlist you break out for extra special occasions. Or so I'm told.
