  • Until we have an acceptable alternative with unlimited supply & no emissions, we should continue drilling for our own domestic oil, on & off shore and build more refineries. Stop buying oil from our enemies in the Middle East & S. America, &give the job of replacing fossil fuels to American oil and auto companies 10 to 15 yr. phase in. This will stop lobby money going to congress to keep using oil, and American oil companies can develop and distribute the alternative fuels (Hydrogen preferred)

  • @jjrglobal i am not getting one penny from the government.

  • @switchgrassfuel

Oh I see, you're the one getting the subsidies. Hypocrit

  • @jjrglobal i am not as worried about gas prices as oil prices in general. oil is in everything and has the potential to affect everything. since changing to running ethanol in my car i have saved allot of money. i have taken the time to learn the entire process of making ethanol. my cousin had the permit for 10 thousand gallons a year. i can find the enzymes, still, Zeolite and any other things for fuel grade ethanol online. i am getting off oil as much as possible. and i am almost debt free.

  • @switchgrassfuel

This is not what congress is talking about when they are talking about cutting oil subsidies, what congress wants to cut are normal tax deductions that every company uses. They want to exclude oil companies from these deductions, which are operating expenses. This will do absolutely nothing but drive the price of gasoline thru the roof. You want $20 gasoline, then back the Democrats on this, so they can piss away more of your money and bankrupt the whole country

  • @jjrglobal big oil companies do produce the oil from the countries we babysit. it is just those companies don't always like us. and any money spent by our government to obtain or secure any fuel is a subsidy. you can call it anything you want if it makes you feel better. an as far as our troops go i have always supported our troops in what ever they do. but i don't think we should fight over fuel. do you think no won makes a profit on oil? oil = big busyness. always has always will.

  • @switchgrassfuel

So you want our troops to do what then? And how does our troops babysitting oil benefit big oil companies, considering that big oil companies dont produce the oil from the countries that we babysit? How in the hell can you call that a subsidy?

  • @jjrglobal i am not talking about money in the form of a check. our government pays our troops to babysit the oil so we get our fair share. that may benefit every busyness, but it still is like a subsidy for oil. plus our government has been catering to oil companies for years. it is to bad that you are so addicted to oil to even see that.

  • @switchgrassfuel

How does the gov subsidize oil companies? Did you even listen to the video? What everyone is calling subsidies are in FACT normal business deductions, like operating expense, including labor. Have you ever prepared the taxes for an oil company or owned an oil company? Stop commenting on things you know absolutely nothing about, dont believe everything Nancy Pelosi says

  • @switchgrassfuel

You're full of shit. NO OIL COMPANY GETS A CHECK FROM THE GOVERNMENT, THEY PAY INTO THE GOVERNMENT. This is not debatable moron
