The North Oxnard Warriors dominated the PYFL Super Bowl XVII at Newbury Park high school bringing home the PYFL Super Bowl Championship. In the Senior Division (7th & 8th graders), North Oxnard Red defeated SCV Seminoles 62-48. North Oxnard Warriors have THREE players selected as U.S. Army Youth All-Americans. WR Davonte Nunnery #4, QB Brandon Dawkins #13, and RB Chris Davis #5, were selected from more than 4,000 nominees as three of the 44 eighth graders from 35 states to play in the second annual U.S. Army-Football University 8th grade All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The trio make up half of the six players selected to represent California.
