Paul sometimes quotes other people in his writings without being explicite about the quotation. Many people today confuse Paul with the quotations hw sometimes cites. In Romans 1:1-17 we have the real "Voice of Paul". Next in Romans 1: 18-32 we have "the Voice of Paul's Opponent". Then picking up in Chapter 2 we have the "Voice of Paul" attacking his opponents position. Some scholars throughout the ages have had a hard time telling the difference between the real Paul and the imagined Paul and have built up doctrines and theologies based upon the supposed sayings of Paul and not the real sayings of Paul. Clearly it is time for fundamentalists to rethink their position based upon newly emerging evidence.
