  • Doesn't sound "outrageous" to me. Quite sensible actually. I don't know anything about Son-Rise beyond this video. This is much like how I am with my kids naturally.

  • The program I work for implements ABA and I can see how this strategy would be so much more beneficial for both the child and family.

Instead of focusing on getting them to learn the way we want to teach them we should be facilitating learning the way they learn.

    Love it!

  • The Son Rise Program has been a blessing to our family. My son is doing very well! Thank you Autism Treatment Center of America.

  • Mr. B. N. Kaufman is so, so, so first-rate! I don't have kids of my own & never have, but I have read his autobiographical material and the program talked about in this video is very much first class. I wish all learning styles could be respected & made allowance for.

  • Definitely true, Wiscsuzki. The child "grows" if you pay attention to him, autistic or not. It does not cure autism, but you will have a better relationship with your children.

  • Fantastic! It's so inspirational!

  • Makes so much sense! I love it!!!

  • Years ago, we saw our daughter's Autism as tragic & were on the verge of divorce. Thanks to Son-Rise, the Autism Treatment Center of America, Options and the Kaufman's. Our 7.5 yr old daughter is progressing well beyond expectations. Our family is thriving. Our marriage is the best it has been in its 12 yrs. Thank you! I highly recommend to anyone dealing with life's challenges (not just Autism) that you read "No Regrets" by Barry Neil Kaufman. The book is an amazing journey of love & growth.
