Review of Shinya Tsukamoto's brilliant 1989 black and white cyberpunk classic. This review is thus also in black and white to go along with this shocking film. The story takes us from a man inserting metal into his arm, to another man becoming a robot in more ways then one.

Beside the fact that the movie was gross, odd and WTH o sex it Rocked! The special effects were awsome for that time and all together the movie was really put together greatly. It's hard to find people who like this movie. Of course if you focus on the gore and all it's hard to watch but we had a fun time with it neverless joking bout it and concentrating on the neat effects. So people have an open mind! It's good to have a change of it once in while.

This was a great film I recently watched it and it blow my mind, I also watched the 2004 remake called Tetsuo the Gun Man that is a little easier to follow and has some great scenes, Swan you should check this title out

An epic ending when tetsuo says..... "and we can rust the whole world and scatter it into the dust of the universe.

I saw the women chasing him at the station when i was a boy, and it blew my mind.

The Driver (he isn't named in the movie) isn't really turning into a robot. It's much worse, and much weirder, than that. He is turning into scrap metal.

Tetsuo: the Iron Man is by far the best Japanese horror movie ever made, in my opinion. A lot of people are just "LOL drill penis" or "LOL giant robot penis". And... well... the phallic symbolism is a big part of the film. But it isn't something juvenile.
