WSDOT Snow-fighter Brian Kendall

Brian Kendall is one of WSDOT's maintenance crews who work 12-hour shifts to plow and sand the highways when the snow falls and the ice forms. Ride along as tackles the snow on I-5 and I-405 in Snohomish County.

WSDOT has nearly 200 plows, sanders and graders on the highways in Western Washington between Olympia and the Canadian border.

Technician?? BS.. I could drive that truck with minimal training, and that would be only on the sander operation. And, plow driver would be the classification. No wonder the pay scales are so far out of whack. Redefine the title into something that sounds like it needs a degree, and shazzam.
