Product development, checking out the system, and fixing minor problems. Considering what was built and how many people were involved in designing, machining, and building the bike (one, just Andreas), to me this is bigger then the pyramids.
Here's a link to stills of his bike- http://www.flickr.com/photos/13481782@N06/sets/72157619480714676/show/

  • This is really cool, and the amount of engineering is hugely appreciable. But oh those beautiful CBX's...Do you have at least 1 CBX? I don't know that the motorcycle gods would be too pleased unless some homage were paid. They are soooooo cool .I own a 1980 CB 900 (U.S. spec) and I have always loved and wanted a CBX for 2 up riding here in Colorado.

  • @dpottinger69 I have three other CBX's. Stock 82, retro-wire wheeeled 79 that I roadraced years ago, and a highly modified turbo 82 single sided swingarm X. I used to have four spare engines. I gave them to Andreas. He needed them more then I. You can find pic's of my other X's on my flickr.com picture account with the same name as my youtube account.

  • He sounds South African. Could it be??

  • @330ibeemer He's a Greek-born and raised in South Africa and now calls La Jolla, CA home for most of the year and has Canadian citizenship.

  • You bastard. You've ruined two of a limited number of the best motorcycles ever.

  • @randyrhoadesRIP randyRIP it took a ot more then two engines from perfectly restored, 100 point CBX's to build the V12. Andreas probably destroyed atleast four more perfectly restored, 100 point CBX's just while doing the cam chain adjusters. And he only tries to destroy CGR (do you know what that acronym stands for) CBX's because of their value. It's interesting what one will do for the sake o fart. None of this is real, the video's are a hologram and the sound from a lambo run through a mixer

  • @Rick258442 seeing as how safety is Andreas main consideration, he's also replacing the engine with a series 550 Briggs & Stratton at a later date.
