  • @blandinthebasement At least someone sensible.

Yes you are right personally I think dedicating time on how mormons need to change instead of living their own faiths provoque exactly the opposite effect.

  • I agree, however it is disingenuous to have an entire meeting dedicated to how mormons need to change--rather than how 'we' can change and be better.

christ didn't preach of how his congregation can change others---he said, 'he who is without sin, let them cast the first stone'

  • He seems like a nice guy. Why not worry about personal choices?? Does this pastor believe he doesn't need to change himself? Why are they discussing the needs of mormons to change instead of ministering to the needs of the congregation? they are concerned with mormons being where they want them, instead of where the lord wants the individual.

This is so disingenuous. It is ridiculous to discuss where others need to be instead of yourself.

  • Good video. One of the few non-Mormon videos I've seen on Youtube that makes even a small attempt to be honest. This man could probably have a Mormon as a best friend, even though he knew that his friend would be Mormon the rest of his life. One question I usually ask someone who claims that Mormons are cultists, going to hell, etc, is if they could ever have a Mormon as a best friend. Very, very few had said that they could. So, kudos to this gentleman. :o)

  • Humm....I know some street preachers who would benefit from this video. "Mormons are people first..." To some street preachers, Mormons are dirty cultists who are headed for hell first. I do admire this man's willingness to think of Mormons as actually human, lol. Also admirable is that he doesn't profess a phony love for Mormons (unlike some street preachers I've met) whose actions directly contradict. For the record, I've met very few folks who I consider true anti-Mormon.

  • 22boopus- Thank you. I know that the Lord loves me. He has shown it to me in countless ways.

Find my way back to what? I have everything I could ever want. I have everlasting life and a relationship with Jesus. I have eternal security, when I die I know I will be with my God, and Savoir.

  • I'm sorry you feel that way, I hope you can find your way back at someday. The lord loves you.

  • 22boopus- Actually I did read the Book of Mormon a few times when I was LDS. It isn't another testament Jesus Christ. It's a work of plagarism, mingled with scripture nothing more.

  • I beg to differ, if you've never honestly read and pondered the Book of Mormon you have no idea what you are talking about. It truly is another testiment of Jesus Christ.

  • Who's kidding? People leave the LDS church everyday becasue they came to know the REAL Jesus Christ.
