  • I see what you mean, but to which point do you know if that people are really being accepting to you and not just being nice for the sake of it? It's kind of hard to say, isn't it. And having empathy is more than that anyway, it's having the ability of understanding you the way you are. As for strangers, yeah, exactly like you say...I think the lack of empathy point is better applied to people who are constant in our personal lives, be them close to us or not. Those are the ones that concern.

  • One funny thing is that I have much empathy, but only towards people who seem to be okay with me. They dont need to be dear to me or anything, if they are nice and seem to accept me, I have lots of empathy towards them. For strangers I dont have empathy either, but Im not sure if normal people have either?
