  • Dorothy was a honorary doctor---Vermont State.

  • I never knew her or her works so well but in a short time I have read her Autobiography and seen almost all videos concerning her life and achievement.I must say I'm deeply humbled. She deserves a peaceful rest after those years of total committment.God bless you Miss Height and continue to inspire us from up above.

  • DR. DOROTHY IRENE HEIGHT GONE but not forgotten!

She was always the one who posed the question best for us to ponder - when was the last time "YOU PUT YOURSELF ON THE LINE" to secure someone else's civil rights? Remember the days of the picket lines and being nearly hit by cars? My last one was Fall 2009. What a great inspiration she is.

  • She was such a classy lady. From the hats she wore to the words she spoke, she endured for a great movement and she was able to move mountains with her contribution. R.I.P.

  • Please see my video in tribute to Dr. Height.
