From Knit Aid: a learn it, fix it, finish it guide for knitters on the go.

I-cord is awesome! Use it to make shoelaces, button loops, bootie ties, drawstrings, necklaces, and oh so much more.
Use it: it's your friend.

  • I love HGTV and DIY, but they have moved away from the crafting shows which is a disappointment.

  • I love Vickie Howell too! I really miss Knitty Gritty - something I always looked forward to in the morning before work. Sure beats the news! Bring Vicki back

  • I love Vickie Howell...too bad her show is no longer on HGTV.....In fact too bad HGTV has eliminated just about all hands on DIY crafting shows.

  • Very nice and smart.

Thank you very much for the tip...

  • Every time you get to the part I need help on, it's you--looking down at your work. I am new (obviously) to knitting and I don't know which way to wrap the yarn if I'm coming from the back. It was a little funny, actually, getting to JUST where I wanted to see and the camera went away from the project.

  • That could not have been ANY easier explained! Thanks so much!!

  • Excellent demonstraton! Thanks

  • I make I cords on single points sometimes. If you dont have dpns or circs, you do what you have to.....LOL
