Well although that may be true it will never have the stamina, quality, or weight of that block and the lightweight build of it really makes that 14,000 dollars for a complete ls7 crate motor worth it :/

well honestly some headers, cat back, and heads, cam intake manifold, thottlebody, intake, and this thing will have that much horsepower lol

Who the fuck wants a ls7 inside a car that is barely working with what it has? I'd rather just buy a corvette at that point because with the current styling you might as well with the price I can bet it will cost. It's definitely not worth the extra hundred hp IMO although I know it will make someone happy.

I couldn't agree more. Lets think about this for a minute. The new SS is $37K and up. The new Z28 commin out with 550hp and I would guess in gonna be high 40s. Whats is the advantage of an LS7? And another thing did GM forget this is supposed to be the poor mans corvette? At 40K you might as well buy a C6 corvette.
