re: the screen corruption.. I don't know how similar internally the famicom is to the NES, but I had strange screen corruption like this on my NES, and I found after taking it apart that the big "block" that connects the cart loader to the "other bit" had some corrosion on one of the pins, after I scraped this off it was fine

I have to be careful with the innards of my Twin Famicom. There's a bit of blu tac holding the power cables up from the disk drive inside :|

i love this game so much and is one of the first game i got for my nes on that great x-mas. i havent done the challenge yet but i have been sick i will do very soon it dont pass of this week

No worries :) I've been using the Famicom like this for over a year so something is bound to come along.

Well seller/shop on ebay is no longer there thats sells all the scart leads, but there is one shop i found retrocomputershack, they seem to have a fair few leads but only for home computers at moment.
