During the main campaign of Batman: Arkham City The Joker gives a small speech. If you're paying attention, you'll notice a smal hint at the TV show LOST.

Batman: Arkham City is third-person Action-Adventure game that delivers an authentic Dark Knight experience rooted in an original and engrossing story as well as a combination of melee combat, stealth, investigative and speed-based challenge gameplay. A sequel to 2009's Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City features the full range of classic enemies seen in the previous game, in addition to Catwoman, who is a playable character and has her own storyline in the new release. Additional features include: a range of new gadgets, an increased number of possible melee opponents and a range of movement options for Batman that include leaping, sliding, gliding and the grapple hook.

The Joker in the recording is Clayface. It'd make sense for him to reference popular media since he was an actor.

Knowing Joker (Clayface) he probably knew Batman was watching it 'I'll be right behind you'. I suspect the real Joker was following him throughout most of Arkham City...or watching him somehow :P Btw how come it did all end in a Church?

"Whatever happens, I'll be right behind you" In the end of the game when Talia supposedly "kills" Joker (Clayface), the real Joker is right behind them...

@Imperativism It really is a reference to Lost. Mark Hamill watches the show and one of the inmates in-game says something about the island following this recording

@TheBanned0ne First, because he looks healthy. Joker never takes the cure at any point in the game and that's why he still has that rash at the end of the game.

Second, you can hear the real Joker coughing in the background. It's implied that he's the one holding the camera.
