Sam Deltour arrives at the finish line in 11th place

The begian musher Sam Deltour arrives at the finish line in the early morning hours with a young team he borrowed from alaskan musher Mitch Seavey.
I did not film him entering the finish shoot but caught up with him while he loaded his sled onto the dogtruck. It is easy to see in the interview that Sam Deltours arrival is bitter sweet. He will have to give the dogs back to their owner and move on, braking the bond he and the dogs - as any true team - had created during training and during the 1000 mile/ 1600 km journey.
