  • didnt the people that made zip zaps make the bodys bigger and then call them zmods?

  • Radio shack is the company that makes zip zaps and xmods. xmods were a bit larger and far more customizable and upgradable than zip zaps. Also, the new version of the zip zap is about the same but is now called the xmod mini.

  • hey man just a ? how much would a fully modded zap cost? like stait from nothin to as fast as u can go

  • well zip zaps are no longer available through radio shack. You would have to find all your parts online. the zip zap itself would be anywhere from 10 to 20 bucks. Then you would have to buy upgrade parts which are only available in kits. Those can go for around 5 to 10 bucks. You would need motor upgrades and axle and transfer gear upgrades to fully mod it.

  • hey can u install leds plese anser back

  • Those leds you see in my cars on this vid were installed by me. You need to have the connector for lights though.

  • actually nvm just got it

  • how do you take the shell off?

  • i used to have a Herbie The Love Bug zip zap till i accidently left it outside and it got stolen

  • i just sold 2 zip zap cars and a remote controller...for $10...guess i shouldve done my homework first lol

  • Ah I remember these I had a red rx-8 and a 1973 Aston martin vantage. lol I want them back! ;)

  • yo you skiped pink

  • Nice collection and VERY nice modifications! Do your Escalades speakers work? Mine don't and I've been told that that was a frequent malfunction with that body kit.

Oh. By the way, the gear order for Zip Zaps is blue (12:1), green (9.86:1) and red (8.25:1) or Stock, Performance and Turbo.

I wish that they still made the blue 1.0 motor. It was really useful on curvy tracks.

  • How long do the zipzaps go after charge and can I modify it so it can use less battery power and run longer.

  • where do you get the led lights is it in a kit?
