You have a really good choose of characters. But I also would included Aika from Skies of Arcadia, the Bonanza Bros. as a Team like the Ice Climber in SSB, Big, the Cat for a heavy class fighter, a Hotsuma from the Sinobi-Series, some Shining Force-Characters like Bowie or Sarah from SF II, Ethan Waber and Alis from the Phantasy Star-Series and also maybe Alex Stone from Streets of Rage.

I support the idea a lot, which is why I started my homebrew project, Sega Brawlers Megamix, named after Fighters Megamix for Sega Saturn. The game features many of the old school sega characters in one big fighting game. You've got Sonic, Streets of rage, Golden axe, Toejam and earl, Guardian Heroes, and guests like Earthworm Jim. If anyone wants to see it, just look up "Sega Brawlers Megamix" here on youtube.

sounds like a great idea im getting tired of hearing people say that they want to see sega characters in a smash bros game why not just have a game where all sega characters are fighting. This game would make a great idea and i hope one is made soon.

@SonicCinos123 Its a Samba De Amigo minigame with an asian kid playing.! If you never played sega Superstars for pS2 eyetoy ur pretty much in the game. the camera makes u visable in the game!
