Practising a little Pachelbel on the under-construction house organ. I only have available an 8' Praestant, but at least it's useful. The organ is set to Silbermann temperament (1/6 comma meantone).
I played through this piece three times (perfectly!) before turning on the camera. With the camera recording, I was too conscious of the notes, and managed to insert several, uh, "grace notes..."
The organ is both tracker and direct electric. Each manual has suspended tracker action to a small chest of upperwork; under each manual is an electrical contact rail for the main chest. The tracker chests will operate as Ventils. Since each chest has only one stop, there is no need for sliders.
I make no apologies for the video quality. The camera is a Fuji designed to take photos, and I think the video mode was a bit of an afterthought. Great pics, awful videos -- I hope to upgrade eventually.
Very nice. I enjoyed it!
