this is complete shit. protecting babies?! if you actually cared about young children youd know that same sex couples adopt children that have no where to go, while hetero couples are more likely to produce an unwanted child. if you were really about love then you should try loving everyone, not just straight people. putting a bunch of cute babies on the internet doesent allow you to put the phrase "protect the babies" and make your point. try thinking before you post something like this.

@peaceandrosegirl What people are afraid of are their own homosexual feelings. Most people (if not all) have a few same-sex desires and it's those desires that scare people so much. Have you ever heard of the Kinsey scale? It's a very good way to measure an individuals level of bisexuality. I took an online test based on the Kinsey scale a few years ago, it said I was heterosexual with bisexual tendencies; which sounded right to me. It's just human nature, but people are afraid of it.

@Poochalot I agree. My cousin is gay and he is a Christian. And pretty much every other country in the world has allowed gay marriage and many of them are doing a heck of a lot better than the U.S. What are we afraid of?

@peaceandrosegirl That's true, I've talked to many people who say they're Christians and there's nothing wrong with being gay, I even have a friend on a gay rights website who uses the name "gay Christian". 20 people can read the Bible and 20 people will say something different about it. How can anyone be so sure what that book says? It's been translated so many times the original translation is gone. There have already been gay marriages and nothing bad happened to anyone.
