@bias2dlogic Really we mean different things talking about 'evil', because Messiah never looked evil to me, he's a funny fat guy with amazing voice and unique stage presence but he's certainly not 'evil' to me. He MAY sound evil but never LOOKS evil.

@memmori1 cool! we don't share the same meaning of the word "evil." lowe's is fine if you like his version, but messiah delivers whatever evil means to me. and please do enjoy the music. the demon's gate and the edge of heaven rocks!

@bias2dlogic Do you think this song needs much evil in vocals? I doubt so. It is more lyrical and tragic than evil and ruthless... and Messiah was also not evil performing it (although Langquist was more emotional and even hysterical). I like Lowe's version too. And he may sound VERY ominous when he feels this is the very thing the song needs.

I love this song, but that fat ass old man is not doing it right. The playing is still great, but that voice is just not evil enough. He does not sound wicked to me.
