  • Do u think that if u go to stainless steel valves you should double spring them?

  • @stix746 You should set up the same as before- just have different valve material. The titanium gives better performance in the short run, but is very high maintenance.

  • I forgot to put in there that it is 40 over.. U said it would lose all it's compression right? So it Probley needs jetted.. What kind of jet kit would u recommend? And thank you for even takin time to try to help me not everyone would do that and I want u to know that I truly appreciate it..

  • @stix746 I just use whatever brand the carb is.

  • Hey if my 05 crf450 won't kick start but roll start and run fine but backfire a lil bit and it won't idle.. Does this mean I need the valves adjusted? And possibly need new valves?any info u could give me would be great I'm lost on it

  • @stix746 It depends on how easy it kicks over. That's the key- watch the beginning of my valve adjustment video. Otherwise it could just be jetted too lean.

  • @briansmobile1 thank you

what do i need to do to fix??

i got a new spark plug new gas and i ajust the vales clean the carb to am mising some thing....

  • It's not extremely hard to kick and it will kick start every now and then when it's hot..

  • @1999chegado Sounds like it's jetted too lean for running in winter weather or it's over cooling for the conditions you're riding it in.

  • can you help me out

i have ttr230 wont idle and has to be choked to run..

    i clean

the carb any idea and new gas

    its hard to start
