The video doesn't look like he's the one talking. Anyway he's a great investor and businessman.
Real estate is a good place to invest as they can be assets. But it's not the only asset you should rely on.
The only assets that increase in value is your education, your skills and the relationships you build.
Everything else is secondary and it's value will get diluted overtime no matter what.
