It was a battle for sole possession of first place in the Northern Athletic League. But the game turned out to be all West Valley as the Eagles capitalized on numerous Central Valley turnovers on the mud soaked field here Friday night to defeat the Falcons 40-8 in Valley Bowl III. In fact, the biggest highlight for C.V. fans may have been the halftime scrimmage between the West Valley and Central Valley pee wee football teams as the little Falcon youth football players scored three touchdowns against the Eagles.
