James somehow managed to find that formula for perfection on this track. I love many of his songs greatly, but something about this one truly epitomizes ambient music. The fluctuations in mood and emotion felt with every second of this song are surreal.

@Iemanonymous1 The experience of life lies in the journey, not the destination.

Listen to this song and make sure everyone you love knows that you love them. You might not get another chance ... To look back for the rest of your life and know that you didn't tell them is too cruel a burden. Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.

@1111paradoxlost1111 I don't see the relation. And most of those abrasive tracks are very emotional too.

It's almost like an acceptance of death and the mystery of our material universe

@Newcomingmusic Drifting and floating and fading away to nothing and everything...

This is by far my favorite Aphex Twin song...
I don't know why I love it so much it is just so beautiful, yet creepy, familiar, yet unfamiliar.
This song reminds me of death, not some one else dying but myself dying, what it truly means to vanish. I can't use many words to describe the way I feel when I hear this song.

I often wonder what it would be like to die.
If your point of view in the big story that is life suddenly vanishes, then what?
I can't imagine the feeling of absolute utter nothingness.
Maybe our reward for keeping our chins up through life is to see what the answer at the end really is.
