Yay! March Break! *looks at piles of homework and notes to study* ...They call this a break?! *SIGH* Oh well... video upload time!

I managed to squeeze three stages into today's video, this will get quite rare later on due to the fact that stages keep growing in size in this hack.

Stage 3: Cave Exploration - This stage is very similar to the original Super Mario World's first cave stage... main difference is you are on a small moving platform instead of solid ground. It even has the whole warp-pipe shortcut near the beginning that lets you skip most of the stage or go to the secret exit. I do not exactly know what the author was thinking with this one.

Stage 4: Flower Fear - Oooh I like this stage. It is an odd sort of design for a ghost stage, yes, but it is still fairly fun to play through. I do not really have much to comment on for the stage itself though other than the secret exit is pretty simple to find...

Stage 5: Iceberg #1 - Water staaaaaage... Oh well, it is not all that bad. Especially with a fire flower! Only thing about water stages though... they always take awhile to get through just from how slowly Mario moves underwater. A neat thing about water stages though is how you can technically swim underneath the whole level if you want to... I tend to not abuse this very much though as I want all you viewers out there to actually SEE the level. The secret exit in this one is pretty crafty, only the truly observant will find it with ease.

  • 7:41 You could do that because most floors use the same collision data as landforms you can jump through

  • Stage 3 was probably referenced from DKC (2, I think?) where you had to get fuel barrels for your moving platform... Anyone can corrected me if I'm wrong

  • What an interesting idea using a conveyer belt as a platform.

  • I never thought you can do spin jumps on ghost and won't be hurt! Now it's much easier for me to finish the ghost house on Super mario world 2 :P I really like the remix of the ghost house! :) I wish I have that remix too!

  • Argh! I'm going crazy! Can anybody tell me where I can find a rom of The Second Reality Project that actually works on SNES9X? I've had no luck so far and I've already tried ZSNES but whitout succes... it just wont start...
