We'll try this again. Was uploading Split Enz - I Hope I Never from the True Colours album when Comcast took a crapper for the night. Can't Comcast have issues when I'm sleeping or otherwise away. And it figures that it would happen when I put up some auctions on Ebay. Blah blah blah. Anyways, how many of you had True Colours on vinyl with the laser etching on the vinyl? And did you REALLY try to get all the different color combos of the record sleeve? (Yes to the former, and I have no idea how many colors the cover came in.)

  • A beautiful song from Tim Finn and Split Enz.

  • Totally brilliant!!!

Bring back the great memories. God those Finn boys can sing.

Split Enz were always around at the 'wrong time'. 1982 falklands war and '"6 months in a leaky boat'....early 80's when punk came on.....

  • @aealtizer Hey mate ya wanna look up some of the Tim Finn albums he did after the Enz split,,no pun intended,,,awesome stuff,,great writer musician and vocalist,,Pete

  • Master piece!!!!!

  • Four colors--mine was the blue cover. And I used a flashlight to see the colors on the record as it played. In retrospect, these songs seem over the top and genuine at the same time. I can't think of another band that was able to accomplish that. This was one of the bands that helped me stay sane during high school.

  • This song moves me so much it's.....it's haunting!

  • I hadn't actually heard Tim Finn sing before. Besides being the older brother, I can tell now he has the better voice, so he was lead originally.

    Nice quality voice.

  • Still works.....
