GERMAN SHEPHERD THE ULTIMATE GUARDIAN AND PROTECTION DOG

The German shepherd is the worlds most complete and ultimate guardian and protection dog. There blend of power, speed, agility, endurance, loyalty, will, bravery, and intelligence is unmatched as no other dog combines all these traits in one like them. The German shepherd was originally bred as a multi purpose livestock guardian dog and herding dog being able to do both jobs in 1 dog. There duties include police and military work, herding, livestock guardian of sheep defending them against dangerous predators, seeing eye dog for the blind, rescue dog, drug and bomb detection, personal bodyguard, and loving, loyal companion to those wanting a devoted pet. They are the 3rd smartest dog in the world, are very athletic; can scale 6ft walls, and one of the strongest bites of all dogs; Military German shepherds get between 400-700lb's bite force, and a police German shepherd was quoted at a 450lb bite! That is almost double of the Pitbull, wich has a 235lb bite, and more than a Rottweiler wich has a 328lb bite! That said, they are loyal and loving to there owner or owners, are usually extra gentle with children. The best way i can describe them is, Its owner's best,loving, friend, and an attackers worst nightmare!

Very poorly executed video.... German Shepherds are incredible dogs with exceptional family loyalty.... this makes them look like dogs a teenage moron would like to have because of their protective "attributes".

@ReMz10184 Your missing a major point of the video! If you read the DESCRIPTION, you will see where i said they loyal and loving towards there owners and extra gentle w/children, and how they are the 3rd smartest dog in the world! That's part of what makes them the ultimate guard dog; fearless,loyal, powerful, etc, yet, affectionate w/ the right people! Plus, alot of pictures in this video displayed them happy or calm. Please look better at pictures and description before passing judgement.

Without a doubt, German shepherds are the worlds best guard dogs! Its so true what the description says; the only dog to combine power, agility, will, speed, endurance, bravery, loyalty, and smarts all in one! There jaw power is awesome how they can latch on to a fighting criminal and take them down in the same manner a lion takes down a zebra! Thats why the police and military use them! Plus, they were used as a livestock guardian to defend sheep from predators!

@StSimonMartyr And also, I have at least shown you two videos, and you have yet to show me ANYTHING that proves that absolutely no Dobermann has the overall hardness to surpass a Shepherd dog. If only I could find those videos that show Dobies being used as sentry dogs in OTHER military forces, and if only the REST of the videos belonging to SilentDobe were still listed on her channel, then I could have shown you some good stuff. But you haven’t even shown me ANYTHING!

@StSimonMartyr And you should go talk to the owner of a channel called SilentDobe. She has quite a bit of experience with sport training dogs. She trains and/or watches GSDs, Malies, Donavans, Dobies, APBTs, Rotties, and more. She has one KICKASS Dobermann! Now don’t just go to her channel now and say that the Dobie isn’t all that one of a kind, but you should have seen the videos that USED to be on her channel. I mean that Dobie has got a whole lot of hardness and fight drive!

@StSimonMartyr By the way, you told me that Dobermanns are difficult dogs to train and break away from their handlers??? Now that just proves how uneducated you are about them! Dobermanns are one of the LOYALEST and EASIEST dogs to train! I’ve trained three of them, and they were by far the easiest purebred dog I’ve trained in obedience. Two of theme were not even from any working (or show) line at all. They were backyard bred dogs. The one that I own is a European show line Dobermann.

@StSimonMartyr Hence; why does the military force prefer to use Dobies as sentries INSTEAD of their GSDs??? Don’t blame it one the heat. That is the world’s dumbest excuse because if the heat had something to do with it, then they would shave the GSDs that they already have. By the way, I’ve heard of OTHER military forces, in cooler areas, that also use Dobermanns as sentries. They still use their GSDs as duel purpose dogs, but DOBERMANNS specialize in sentry duty.

@StSimonMartyr In military, police, special services, border patrol, dogs need to coexist more easily with plenty of folks around them every day than in personal protection or sentry. Of course, in P. P., dogs need to be able to accompany the handler anywhere, but not to meet with quite a few folks (unless you know and meet quite a few folks) every day. GSDs can handle quite a few folks as their “pack members” a little better. Therefore, they are not as wary as Dobermanns.

@StSimonMartyr The Shepherds may have more prey/ball/food/fight drive, but they do NOT have the overall hardness. Dobermanns are more wary and defensive. I don’t care how much you want to tell me no about that, but it’s true for some Dobies! You should go study vom Tanzenhaus, von Ellendonk, von Bayern, etc. bloodlines, and then you’ll see what a HARD Dobermann is!
