Coke is more of a gray color also when cooked it looses alot of its density there becoming less heavy than coal

It seems like the only coke train with good power is 891.

coke is made from coal, they bake coal in an airless furnace so it becomes almost pure carbon. It looks pale compared to coals usual black.

Coke is a specific type of coal, I'm not sure how to tell the difference by looking at it.
