remember not to say the command twice because the dog will start waiting until you say the command several times before responding. They're somtimes to smart for their own good. My border collie could also "shake" (give paw) before i even knew him.

good job just try not to repeat the command
say SIT firmly once and wait thirty seconds, if she hasnt done what you have asked, repeat the command then with hand and treat aids :)
