The girl IS sad at this point in the story as she has lost her friends - there's videos here when she's reunited with the sultan on his elephant and looks much happier!

The music is played by Balayeurs du desert who released the music on a CD called Jules Verne Impact - really hard to find the CD, but you can download from iTunes
