Stephen J. Augustine, DO - Joint Replacement Sports Medicine - JOI Riverside

Dr. Augustine is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio and earned his Osteopathic Medical Degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He performed an internship at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colorado in 1995 and then an orthopedic surgery residency at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Augustine completed two fellowships while at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia; in Sports Medicine / Arthroscopy and in Shoulder Reconstruction. Dr. Augustine is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.

He has been actively involved in the Jacksonville sports medicine scene for years providing sports medicine coverage to athletes at public high schools, Edward Waters College, local professional sports teams, and numerous local action sports events such as motorcross, surfing, skateboarding, wakeboarding, and BMX. He enjoys working with all types of athletes and helping them get back into competition.

He practices Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy, Joint Replacement, as well as Shoulder and Knee Reconstruction at Riverside.
