- Over the holiday weekend, there were three murders in Richmond County. On Sunday, Darnell Brown was shot at a 4th of July cookout. He died at the hospital on Monday. Also on Monday, the bodies of Kayla Wells and Jeramie Hammonds were found with multiple gunshot wounds near Glenn Hills Middle School. All three victims were under 21.
