Butch Vig is such a brilliant producer, in the 90`s he recorded nearly all of my favourite rock albums (Nirvana, Sonic Youth Dirty album) and the stuff he did with his band Garbage was also fantastic.

@MUNT0N Yeah, he tries to act like it was all artsy his production, but get real, the music industry is all about making multiple layers, make it all super-polished/easy on the ears, make it loud so it stands out on the radio & suck half of the vibe out of it. They are a business.
