Demon's Souls - 4P Co-op Gameplay

Demon's Souls (PS3)

4-player cooperative gameplay, which is strange because i thought the max was 3 players. this is just me and some random dudes clearing 2-1 together (stonefang tunnel) in new game+. i have no idea how we managed to pull this off but i'd certainly like to find out. notice at the end that there seems to be a hidden third player on the menu where i'm supposed to grade players on their performance.

sorry for cheesing the boss with that sit-in-a-safe-place-and-fire-arrows-and-magic-missiles bullshit. hopefully they'll patch this boss up and force us to go toe to toe with it

So sad to hear that this game's online servers will be shutting down in October. As I understand, that's around the time Dark Souls will be released, and perhaps From Software feels everyone will abandon Demon's. I don't understand why they can't transition from dedicated servers into a P2P network so that the loyal fans can continue enjoying online multiplayer.

@bawan44 The servers were scheduled to be taken offline in October, but Atlus has since extended online support for Demon's Souls into 2012, so that is very good news! Hopefully they will continue to keep the servers up at least until the next generation of consoles are released, which is rumored to be fall 2013. Youtube won't allow me to post the URL, but you can read about the announcement on Eurogamer, just google "Eurogamer Demon's Souls" and the article should show up.
