Zeitgeist, produced by Peter Joseph, was created as a nonprofit expression to
inspire people to start looking at the world from a more critical perspective and to understand that
very often things are not what the population at large think they are. The information in Zeitgeist
was established over a year long period of research

Now, it's important to point out that there is a tendency to simply disbelieve things that are
counter to our understanding, without the necessary research performed.
For example, some information contained in Part 1 and Part 3, specifically, is not obtained
by simple keyword searches on the Internet. You have to dig deeper. For instance,
very often people who look up "Horus" or "The Federal Reserve" on the Internet
draw their conclusions from very general or biased sources. Online encyclopedias or text book
Encyclopedias often do not contain the information contained in Zeitgeist. However, if one takes
the time to read the sources provided, they will find that what is being presented is
based on documented evidence

One thing that really strikes me is that Jesus WAS NOT born on the 25th, they do no know when so they chose a date that is close to other pagan religions.

the sun / "son" argument here does nothing for me. i'd have to study the bible in its original language to see what words they used. c'mon, did they speak english back then??? i'm open to correction though cuz i don't always think things thru so someone try to help me understand why this point is valid and is really supposed to shock me...

How strange, absolutely no where in the Bible does it say that Jesus was born on Dec 25th, so the comparison is now completely meaningless. Horus is said to rise in the morning every single day of the year, not just on 12/25. Horus was not born a virgin. Orion's belt was not called "The 3 Kings" in antiquity, only recently. They also align with Sirius and the sun that way for many months, not just on Dec 25th. Son and Sun do not sound the same in Latin, Greek and countless other languages.

All religion has done...for over 2,000 years is nothing but give us war, and famine. The only thing Religion does is to seperated man from one another and from GOD. Man was created in GODS image, therefore we are GOD LIKE and we can also create. Jesus Christ was a Prophet, and came to earth to teach us spirituality, not Religion....

I am Greek and i do know more than people who made this film. Dionusys was made by Greeks.

Crucifixion wasn't practiced until 300-400 B.C. by the Persians and perfected later by the Romans. So this is off by 2600 years.
