Officer John Maguire was shot and killed when he responded
to a robbery in progress at a local department store.
Two men entered a department store at 9:00pm, just as the
store was about to close. The men robbed the jewelry
counter, and then fled on foot.
Officer Magurie responded along with several other officers.
As one of the men fled the store he was confronted by Officer
Maguire. The two exchanged shots and Officer Maguire was
struck twice in the chest. He was transported to a hospital in
Burlington where he succumbed to his wounds. The suspect
was also killed in the exchange of gunfire.
The second suspect fled to a waiting car, where he fled with a
third suspect. Both men were later apprehended and face
multiple charges, including murder and robbery.
Officer Maguire had served with the Woburn Police Department
for 34 years.

In my opinion, the parole board is just as low as the SCUM career criminal with 3 life sentences that they unleashed back on the streets and caused a police officer to lose his life.
This isn't the first time something like this has happened here. Typical corrupt Massachusetts liberal pin heads... This entire parole board should be thrown in jail for this.

i honestly am not from the area, western mass is where i live, and its a terrible thing that this had to happen, i have no reason not to be tearing up to this beautiful video. rest in peace

Thank you, Officer Maguire, thank you. Although you're no longer here with us, we as Woburn citizens will be eternally grateful for what you've done for our city. You protected us and allowed for that fool who killed you to not run into our neighborhoods. You risked your life for Woburn, for us. You'll never be forgotten. I don't know you, but being a Woburn citizen, I feel like I do. I consider you a hero. Rest in Peace. Godspeed. <3
