Hi SIs, I'm trying to grow my hair, but I'm becoming discouraged. I did the protein treatment, the cowashing, the sealing of the ends daily, everything. Two weeks, no breakage. Decided to give my hair a rest for three days from cowashing with protective styling. I just touched my hair, and it started shedding and breaking like crazy. My hair is texlaxed. Maybe my hair can't take the state of being between curly, and straight. HELP

@OhYeahTheNightNurse Plz don't get discouraged!! Try doing a moisturizing deep condition. Your hair may have a protein overload. The two textures are a beast to deal with but like I said step up ur moisture especially between those to textures.

well i use of were a ponytail a lot and it broke my hair on one side and it want grow back any tips

@poohbear7945 Let it rest for a while. Your scalp and hair may have been stressed becuz of the excessive ponytail use. Massage that area to get the blood circulating

Hey hun,

okay so i have a question,before my hair was shedding like crazyyyy but thankfully it was begining to return to its orignal thickness. just a few ago i had a lot of build up from all the leave in treatments so i decided to go to the salon to get a clarifyinh treatment. after that my hair has been falling alott again..idk what to do? im thinkin it needs protein againnn.. cuz i did what you did and thats what it needed so i gave it that and it helped alotttttt. should i do the same?

I went natural over a year ago so I had my daughter to apply a perm to my hair. I could not believe how thin my hair has become. Im in my early 50 My hair is so weak now every time I comb my hair it is falling out so much and I just noticed that I have a great deal of breakage in the top of my head. it is so bad it is almost bald. I want to just cut it all off GRRRRR!!!. What can do???/

Thank you sooooo much for the tips! you have save d my hair lol!, im actually white and used African American relaxer , it worked so well because i have very coarse , ethnic texture hair and am so tired of flat ironing :/,i have been using protein shampoo and moisture equalizer everything is amazing!
