McGill architecture students are hard working human beings. Usually sleep-deprived and suffering from malnutrition, these incredibly talented people living on the verge of sanity refuse to be overcome with boredom.
@cardstrader A lot happened last summer. It would be too long to explain, but basically all the great teachers are leaving the school (or have already left).
@rudygetsplentyy There was an ugly power struggle last summer that happened in the school. Now all of the great teachers are leaving. The ones who are in control are leading the school towards a very old-school direction (If you like drawing brick houses then McGill might be for you).. I suggest you do some research on your own, maybe visit the school during open house. I think that at McGill Architecture the students are GREAT, but the teachers not so much.
@aliasm4n5 why? i want to transfer my credits and join mcgill but im not sure if they will accept my credits.. its all very confusing i dont know who to talk to about this, maybe if you pass me on your number or something i could call you and take some information. i live outside the United states and canada btw
hey guys, i have a question, how does one get accepted into mcgill? i know u must send a portfolio, and have a good GPA, but is there a specific list of the things you need to get accepted there? i went on the website but its very confusing to me. i'm currently in gr 11 and i need to know what courses to take and whatnot. Thanks in advance
@ilhamSun Put drawings, paintings, photographs, anything that demonstrate your artistic skill. The subject matter does not have to be buildings (in fact you will learn that everything is connected to architecture in some way). Try to include pieces made in a wide range of mediums. Happy holidays and best of luck :)

@secoind You need to email Mrs. Mary Lanni. She knows everything and is very helpful. Her address: mary.lanni@mcgill.ca

@cardstrader We can have a in depth discussion if you wish, but if you want to study architecture DO NOT apply to McGill :)
