This video was made by Almond Custodio, our friend and Ben's office-mate at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. In mid April, Almond contacted me about a surprise wedding shower/going away party that he was helping coordinate for Ben. He asked if I could help him find pictures for a slideshow he was making and if I could come up and be part of the surprise for Ben! I said that I loved the idea and we quickly went to work with our secret plan. So I secretly bought a plane ticket, convinced Ben's mom to figure out how to use a scanner to get some baby pictures and 15^4 secret phone calls to Almond later, this is what we got! The surprise shower took place at NASA Goddard on June 26, 2011.
Our engagement pictures (the ones with me in an orange dress) that are included in the slideshow were taken by Jesse Von Fange, our friend and wedding photographer. Ben recruited him to take pictures of the surprise proposal on July 30th, 2010. After getting over the shock, I changed outfits and we took the engagement photos around Clemson that same day. Also, Jesse took all of the Ultimate action shots in this movie.
