So sad, but thanks for the memories. As a wee girl I spent my pocket money (I got 1s a week - that's a shilling or 5p for less ancient readers!) on 6d to get in to the "New Baths" as we called them - (Hall Street Baths were the "Old" Baths and cost 4d 'cos they were smaller!), then across the [Glasgow] road to the bakers for a hot sausage roll to munch as we waited for the Drumry Bus to take us back up the hill home. Loved it. Happy Days.

I lived in Clydebank until I was 16 yrs old and have lots of great memories, my dad or my Mum would take me to the baths every week, NO they cant tear them down it's a beautiful old place, so please dont give up if I were there I would be happy to help thanks for the great video, I really miss that old Clydebank, I still say it's my hometown Thanks again for taking me back

thats just about right the local council wants to pull down OUR BUILDINGS these guys seem to forget there public buildings we paid for them and we should stand up and be counted VOTE THEM OUT THEN JUST THEN THEY MIGHT LISTEN leave them alone and re do the old baths pool etc the playdrome is a joke as is the council you make my skin crawl
Unfortunately it's happened! There's just an open space now.....
