Cyprus Woman of the Year Award 2010

The Cyprus Business Woman of the Year 2010 is Saskia Constantinou, a spirited entrepreneur whose sheer determination and persistence has established her name in the Cyprus media.




The award, a sculpture by Karen Betts was presented at a Gala Dinner held on May 29 at the Alexander the Great Hotel, Paphos.

The award was launched four years ago by Janice Ruffle. "The Cyprus Business Woman of the Year is open to all women who have a business in Cyprus, irrespective of age or nationality. This year we had 34 entrants and five finalists who went through a rigorous selection process. We hope to have even more Cypriot ladies participating next year and hold the ceremony in Nicosia."

The 2010 award was sponsored by BNI Cyprus, the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Cyprus Academy of Music and Louise Zambartas Law Office. The panel of judges included Elena Tanou, Christina Maddocks and Lucie Robson.
