Not Christians, some individuals who call themselves christians are doing that! Not all or everybody, and of course that happens in every church, every religion, every synagogue, every mosque, temple so forth and so on... Let's call it like it is. It is a problem period, not just with christians. And yes I agree Christianity is about becoming more like Christ and developing a personal relationship with him!

The problem is christians are putting so much load on the pastor's and forget christianity is a personal relationship with the Lord. Some christians are having more of a relationship with their pastor than with the Lord, and you wonder why some fall and leave the faith. When you give your life to Christ its a personal decision and its also a personal decision to know him for yourself, and not just relying on your pastor.

@ holynessorhell... their is no pastor in this life that can make us live righteous, only the Lord can through the power of the Holy Spirit. One of the responsibilities of a pastor is to challenge us, and to stand in the gap for us who are weak in the faith to grow. That person who left the faith is not because the pastor lacks the anointing, that person gave up. Remember what he says..."I know the thoughts I think towards you thoughts of peace and not of evil to bring you an expected end"
