Another special character here, he's called Greene and injured in combat. In Bagdad he hurt his knee on an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) and has been fighting himself all four days to the Finish. It made him very popular to all Heumensoord soldiers. Respect.
I saw him on the routes both marching and being helped by Dutch Army marchers on the last day. I got a good photo of him with soldiers on each side offering support. I thought he had bad blisters, but overcoming an injury like that is a huge success. I also spent a year rebuilding my knee injury to finish in 2009. he stood out as someone that wouldn't let anything stop him from finishing. Great job Greene!
