I first discovered English comedian Boothby Graffoe a few years ago onboard Ships N Dip III. A year later, during Ships N Dip V, he was taking part in a session in which a variety of professional songwriters sat in a panel and discussed writing some of their songs, and of course went through the rounds singing them.
At the end of this session, the host told the singer/songwriters that there was only enough time for the artist with the shortest song to sing it. After a few glances amongst them, Boothby started strumming, and quickly went through the last four lines to this song, hence the title "The Short Song". This year, during SND 4 (yes, they sailed these cruises out of order on purpose...) I asked Boothby to do the short song again. After we came to an agreement on which song was in fact the short song, he informed me that it had no title, but was actually longer than the one I heard before.
So, he did indeed sing it, and I of course got it on video. However, shooting video on my Canon 60D isn't what I have been used to, primarily due to the whole "manual focus" thing. Wow. Hope you don't suffer from motion sickness!
PS- Boothby, if you see this, there are a large number of us Canadians (Albertans) that are awaiting your visit here. See you soon...
lol @ your giggle. What about uploading the one of the lullaby?! THAT one made me laugh SOOOOOOOO hard!
